“I was born in Den Helder but moved to Amsterdam at 19, a city that instantly stole my heart and remains my favorite place to this day. For my studies, I ventured to Utrecht, where I pursued a degree in Journalism. Amsterdam, however, has always felt like home, with its energy, diversity, and endless discoveries waiting around every corner.

My career journey has been anything but linear, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I started in television production, shifted into event management, and later found my long-term focus in retail management, specializing in HR and operations. Now, as Operations Director at Jimble, I bring all these experiences together to ensure seamless, people-centric processes.

What I love most about my role is the cultural diversity, connecting with talent from all over the world. Equally rewarding is nurturing relationships with our corporate clients, ensuring we create the best possible experience for both sides. It’s all about bridging gaps, fostering trust, and making every relocation journey a success.I would describe my working style as devoted, detail-driven, and highly organized, but always with a team-first mindset. I believe that precision and structure are essential for efficiency, but true success comes from collaboration, supporting colleagues, and working toward a shared goal. No task is too small if it helps the team, whether optimizing workflows or mentoring colleagues.

In the office, my colleagues would probably describe me as passionate yet pragmatic, devoted to the work, but always focused on getting things done. Outside of work, I love soaking up Amsterdam’s energy, whether it’s discovering a new hidden gem or just wandering through the city’s lively streets.

If I were to relocate, I’d be torn between Bali’s spiritual calm and Andalusia’s fiery soul. Both are places where life is lived with intention, and after years of Amsterdam’s gray skies, a little extra sunshine sounds divine.”.
