“I’m originally from Islamabad, Pakistan, and I moved to the Netherlands three years ago for my studies. I recently graduated with a Master’s in New Media and Digital Culture, a field that perfectly aligned with my long-standing passion for media. My journey started with an interest in film, which then grew into exploring the power of social media and the influence we have on it. As I prepared to enter the job market, I wanted a place where I could gain hands-on experience and learn independently. Thankfully, my mother sent me a post about Jimble needing someone to manage their socials—it felt like a perfect fit!

At Jimble, I work as the Social Media and Marketing Intern, where I handle all of our social channels, from planning to content creation. I work closely with Wensley as we strategize upcoming campaigns and decide what we want to put forward to our audience. One of my favorite tasks so far was accompanying our relocation consultants as they assist clients. I was there to create content, capturing moments like property viewings and successful check-ins, but witnessing a client’s relief firsthand at check-in was an unforgettable reminder of the positive impact Jimble has.

As part of Gen Z, I’m known in the office for championing more playful social media trends. So if you’re following our socials, stay tuned—there’s a lot of fun content on the way! My working style could be described as planned, organized, and occasionally a little frantic, but I always make sure things are done ahead of time.

Though I moved to the Netherlands three years ago and plan to stay for a while, if I were to relocate, Berlin would be my first choice. I love Germany’s structure, organization, and the tradition of Sunday as a true rest day—it’s a perfect way to slow down and recharge.”
