Moving to The Hague as an expat
It’s not all serious business down in The Hague as the city is also home to one of the most popular beaches in the Netherlands, Scheveningen, which sometimes (yes we’re serious) gets shut down for being too busy. On the bright side, it is not the only beach spot in The Hague so other options are available thanks to the city’s 11+ km coastline if you’re in the mood for some sand between your toes. The music, museums, nightlife, and cultural scenes in the city are on fire, therefore, there’s always something to see or do with international events and exhibitions constantly in store.
The Hague has strong commercial and business ties with government and private multinational companies in the fields of IT and tech, finance, NGOs, and most importantly energy — especially green energy, so these are the fields in demand when it comes to job opportunities in the area.
